reflections of my 'spring bucketlist' | fri 24.07.20

Hello everyone!

I thought it might be fun to look back over my post about my Spring Bucket List (which you can see if you click here), and discuss which I actually did!

Disclaimer: a lot of these did not age well because of COVID. TBH what hasn't be ruined by COVID lol.

1. Coffee Dates

I wanted to do lots of coffee dates with friends and loved ones, buttt then the cafes all shut so this didn't quite happen to the extent I wanted it to! That being said, prior to the lockdown beginning, I did go on several coffees to see friends before everyone went home. Since this, I've had a couple facetime/zoom coffee dates with friends and obviously sat in friends' gardens! So this has happened somewhat!

2. Going on a long walk

I've been on some walks during lockdown but last weekend my boyfriend and I did a 12km bike ride. So, does that count?

3. Easter

I love Easter, it's one of my favourite times of year. This year, as I mentioned in the original post, my family were supposed to be heading to Scotland to visit my grandparents. Whilst most of my 'normal' Easter traditions were a flop, my boyfriend and I are still planning a trip to Scotland in August to explore Edinburgh and visit my family!

4. Some Trips/Get-Aways

Like I mentioned, we're going to be visiting Scotland for a long weekend and we've most likely going to have  stay-cation when my parents go away. Stay-cations really might be the epitome of 2020.

5. Read 5 Books

I've read at least 6 since April so I think I've done this?

6. A Deep Clean

I mean, I had to deep clean my flat when I moved out properly following an easing of lockdown restrictions. I don't know what came over me when I wrote about doing a deep clean to be honest.

Thank you so much for reading. I really hope you enjoyed this post! What's been the most fun thing that you've done this spring?
